Janhvi Kapoor All Set To Appear In Tollywood Films Now? Details Inside

Several production houses such as Mythri Movie Creations, Sri Venkateswara Creations, are ‘competing’ to rope in Janhvi Kapoor for their films. Read on.

After establishing her mark in Bollywood, actress Janhvi Kapoor is all set to appear in Tollywood films now. The actress made her Hindi film debut in 2018 with the film Dhadak. She is the daughter of producer Boney Kapoor and late actress, Sridevi. After her debut, she delivered a few flop performances but made a comeback in 2021 with the film Roohi. From acting to dancing, Janhvi’s performance in the film was appreciated by her fans as well as the critics. Now, she is all set to take on the Tollywood film industry as well, read on.

According to reports, several production houses are ‘competing’ to rope in Janhvi Kapoor for their films. Telugu film producer Ashwini Dutt is reportedly trying to cast Janhvi Kapoor for Jagadeka Veerudu Atiloka Sundari’s sequel. Other production houses competing against each other to cast the actress are Mythri Movie Creations, Sri Venkateswara Creations, Haarika & Hassine Creations etc.

Director S. Shankar, who majorly works in Tamil Cinema, reportedly wants to cast Janhvi Kapoor in the lead role alongside actor Ram Charan. As per reports, even though several production houses want to rope in Janhvi Kapoor, she has not confirmed any of the projects yet.

Janhvi Kapoor made her Bollywood film debut in 2018 with a romance film Dhadak. She was cast opposite debutante Ishaan Khatter in the film. She even won two awards for best female debut and fans loved her performance. Thereafter, she starred in a biographical film titled Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl. The film got a digital release and received mixed reviews from critics. In 2021, the actress appeared in Roohi, a comedy horror directed by Hardik Mehta. Her future projects include Dostana 2 and Good Luck Jerry.
