Jeet Ki Zid: Amit Sadh Brings Kargil War Hero Major Deependra Singh Senger And His Struggles To Life In This ZEE5 Original

Actor Amit Sadh’s upcoming, web series Jeet Ki Zidd is a tribute to an extraordinary man in every manner. Through the series, Amit brings to screen the life of Kargil war hero Major Deependra Singh Senger. Having led an eventful life, Deependra Singh was left unfit for active duty after suffering bullet injuries which he later overcame to build a successful place for himself in the corporate world.

Jeet Ki Zidd will see Amit base his character on the true story of the war hero, who fought multiple battles on and off the pitch. After choosing such an inspiring character for his next venture, Amit had made a statement that the word ‘disability’ needs redefining. The actor also pointed out that physical challenges never restrict people from achieving a dream but giving up does in reference to his character.

Amit Sadh recently shared a promo video of the show through his social media and it is indeed an extraordinary take on a hero’s life. In the video, we can see an angry Amit in a wheelchair trying to find something. The trailer itself sheds light on the struggle and effort the character goes through, and we can only imagine what Deependra Singh must have endured. Amit Sadh, being an amazing actor, can be seen mastering the role and you should definitely watch out.

Earlier, Amit had shared the poster of the show in which he could be seen in military gear with a silhouette of a man in a wheelchair. “Victory awaits those who have the #Zidd to withstand the struggle. #JeetKiZidd #Zidd premieres 22nd January @zee5premium,” Amit had written while sharing the poster on Instagram.

Jeet Ki Zid is directed by filmmaker Vishal Mangalorkar and produced by Boney Kapoor, Arunava Joy Sengupta and Akash Chawla. The show that also features stars like Amrita Puri, Aly Goni and Sushant Singh, will premiere on ZEE5 on Jan 22nd.
