The patriotic thriller Code M, is a ZEE5 Original series streaming on the premium platform. The story is about Major Monica Mehra, (Jennifer Winget), who postpones her wedding so that she can solve an encounter case at the Indian Army base in Rajasthan. Monica faces the wrath of the subordinates and her seniors, as she tries to seek the truth behind the encounter of army personnel. The fight gets dirtier when Monica’s past resurfaces in the form of Angad Sandhu, a legal council.

Jennifer Winget is seen essaying the role of Monica Mehra while Tanuj Virwani is the legal aid, Angad Sandhu. The series also stars Rajat Kapoor as the antagonist. The twisted tale and enigmatic character of Major Monica Mehra is well-displayed by the actress. Jennifer has managed to deliver a power-packed performance in the show. She looks convincing as a Major, especially in the scene where she is off-duty, celebrating her bachelors and yet has to fight off a few miscreants.

Jennifer’s smart hairstyles, and her minimal makeup, along the army uniform make her look perfect as Major Monica Mehra! She seems to have lost a few pounds to fit the role.

Jennifer who is said to be a disciplinarian in real life, plays her part as the disciplinarian Major in the Indian Army, with conviction.
