The historical show Jhansi Ki Rani is back! The show makes it’s return to the small screen after 11 years. Yes, you read that right. Due to the spread of coronavirus and complete #lockdown, Zee TV is trying their level best to entertain the audience. Providing the audience with a much-needed shot of optimism in their daily lives, Jhansi Ki Rani  will air every Monday at 9:30 am, only on Zee TV!

Ek Veer Stree Ki Kahaani… Jhansi Ki Rani  tv show’s story revolves around the life of the courageous freedom fighter Lakshmi Bai, the Rani of Jhansi. Jhansi Ki Rani will narrate the life story of Rani Lakshmi Bai’s resistance to the British Rule.The series was directed by Jitendra Srivastava and it featured Ulka Gupta and Kratika Sengar in the lead roles. The show went on air from August 18, 2009 and within no time received appreciation from the audience. The show ran successfully for three years and had a huge fan following.

Actress Ulka Gupta played the younger version of Lakshmi Bai, while actress Kratika Sengar portrayed the older version. The show is sure to motivate viewers to stay strong and fight the pandemic. According to an entertainment portal, Ulka was overwhelmed with joy to know that her show will go on air once again. She also said that she is blessed to be part of the show and loved to play the role of Lakshmi Bai.
