Jibon Saathi: 5 times Sankalpa proved to be the best husband Priyam could ask for

Zee Bangla’s popular serial Jibon Saathi stars Diya Basu as Priyam and Sayan Karmakar as Sankalpa. Though Sankalpa initially loved Priyam’s sister Jhelum and wanted to marry her, with time he has warmed up to Priyam and has supported and helped her many times. Here are some of the instances when he proved to be the perfect husband one could ask for.

Sankalpa saves Priyam from factory workers

After Priyam’s factory was burnt in the fire initiated by Subhash, the factory workers start asking for money from Priyam for their losses. When Priyam arrives on the site in Kamalpur, she is surrounded by workers. One of the workers tries to hit her from behind with a knife but Sankalpa arrives on time and stops the mishap from happening. He saves Priyam from the rage of all the labours and helps her get back home.

Sankalpa consoles Priyam after the factory fire

After Priyam arrives at the factory and sees it burning, she becomes unconscious due to the shock. Sankalpa leaves everything behind and arrives at the factory to take care of Priyam. He consoles her by saying that everything will ball back in place and stands by her during the hard times. Don’t we all want a supportive and loving husband like Sankalpa?

Sankalpa stands up for Priyam

When the Banerjee family and specially Salankara insults Priyam and tells her that she should mind her own business and not worry about Oishani’s marriage, Sankalpa stands up for his wife. Salankara says that Priyam is already in debt and Turno is not around to help her; so her dream of opening a showroom will not come true. Sankalpa takes Priyam’s side and says that she does not need Turno or anybody else. She only needs him and he will stand by her in every situation. That sure melted our hearts.

Sankalpa supports Priyam when she was blamed for the fire 

Salankara has always blamed Priyam for the fire at her saree showroom. She even filed an FIR against her own daughter-in-law in relation to the crime without any evidence. When the police arrive at the Banerjee household and try to arrest Priyam in front of the media, Sankalpa comes and tells the officer that he is arresting Priyam on the basis of no evidence. He also says that he believes Priyam and will accompany her to the police station.

Sankalpa believed Priyam’s hunch about Subhash

Priyam has had her doubts about Subhash and his evil intentions for a very long time. She had also expressed her doubts to her husband Sankalpa. He did not neglect Priyam’s warnings and himself investigated against Subhash. This just goes on to show that he not only trusts Priyam but even takes her gut feeling seriously.
