According to the most recent developments, the actor has given away his social media handles to an NGO, so that they can share all necessary details regarding the COVID resources. Social media has helped thousands of people in the last few days by connecting them with valid and verified medicine, oxygen, and ventilator source. Actor John Abraham had been gearing up for the release of his much-anticipated film, Satyameva Jayate 2, which was initially scheduled to release on Eid 2021. The film was, however, pushed to a later date due to the rising cases in the country.

According to the video attached above, the actor has now given away his social media handles, with millions of followers, to an NGO which deals with COVID-19 related resources. The platform will now be used to share verified information regarding the availability of beds, ventilators, oxygen cylinders, and medicines, amongst others, in different parts of the country.

In the past few days, actors like Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, and Sonu Sood, have come forward to help the people in need amidst the COVID-19 second wave. The resources in the country have been quite limited which has led to extreme inconvenience amongst the citizens. Mumbai, Delhi, and parts of Uttar Pradesh are among the worst-hit places in the country and the death toll in these areas, due to unavailability of resources is also high. John Abraham’s new initiative is expected to bring relief to various people as social media has proven to be an efficient and quick way of helping the needy in the current scenario.
