Bollywood actor John Abraham’s film Satyameva Jayate 2 is one of the many films which have been creating a lot of hype amongst the fans. According to various reports, the makers recently announced that the film has been postponed due to the ongoing coronavirus second wave and its effect on the country. They shared an official note on social media, informing the fans that they have postponed the release date of the film, keeping in mind, the safety of their audience. The film had been scheduled to release on May 13th, on the occasion of Eid 2021 and was expected to clash with Salman Khan’s Radhe. The makers of Radhe had announced a few days back that the film will hit the theatres on the decided date and will premiere simultaneously on the ZEEPLEX on pay per view basis.

Emmay Entertainment, which has bankrolled the project, recently took to social media to announce that the film has been postponed from its decided date, May 13, 2021. In the short note published, they have mentioned that they are concerned about the safety and the wellbeing of the nation, which is why they have decided to push the release date further. They have also assured that Satyameva Jayate 2’s new release date will be announced in the next few days.

Satyameva Jayate 2 had been scheduled to release on Eid 2021, alongside actor Salman Khan’s Radhe. The box office clash was expected to bring in a huge audience to the theatres but the recent second wave of COVID-19 has brought in new concerns for the makers. Salman Khan had previously confirmed that his film will hit the theatres on May 13th, as promised, along with a simultaneous release on the ZEEPLEX platform. However, with the number of cases steadily rising in the country, most states have also been imposing lockdowns to curb the numbers.
