Jothe Jotheyali 26 August 2021 Written Update: Aryavardhan applies ‘mehendi’ to Anu’s palm

In the previous episode of Jothe Jotheyali, in the dumb charades games arranged by Meera, Mansi and Harshavardhan enact the moment when Aryavardhan and Anu wore traditional outfits for the traditional day in their office. Later, Aryavardhan addresses the guest and tells everyone about the important place that Jhende holds in his life and in his heart.

In the next episode of Jothe Jotheyali, Meera tells Jhende that she didn’t add a note about Aryavardhan applying ‘mehendi’ to Anu, but Jhende tells her not to interfere. An irritated Meera checks all the notes that she had written for the game and tells Jhende that Aryavardhan is cheating. To which Jhende questions her if it is any different than what she did with the note given by Harshavardhan. Meanwhile, Anu is unable to hold her smile when Aryavardhan announces that he will be applying henna to her.

Pushpa asks Aryavardhan to place betel leaves on Anu’s palm and apply henna on it first, as per ritual. While the women are not looking, Anu teases Aryavardhan for cheating in the game. When she blushes, Veena teases her. Moved by Anu and Aryavardhan’s romantic moment, Mansi asks Harshavardhan to apply henna to her palm. Similarly, Pushpa asks Subbu to do the same, while Priya asks Prabhu Desai the same. Veena and the other women soon follow the same trend. Meera tells Aryavardhan how he changed the whole task and all women are getting henna applied to their palms by their husbands. Anu tells Aryavardhan that she wanted to ask him to search for his name in her ‘mehendi’ but now that he is applying the henna, she won’t be able to do the same. As an answer to this, Aryavardhan teases Anu. Mansi questions Harshavardhan about the design that he drew on her palm and he is surprised when he realises that he drew an elephant as he was busy thinking about the white elephant that he had imported.

Harshavardhan tells Mansi his confusion about how the note that he left for Meera was changed. Mansi recalls Meera’s answer and wonders if that answer is the same as the question asked by Harshavardhan. Overwhelmed by emotions, Hosmani plays his flute. Jhende catches him and asks him to stop and remind him of his previous warning to never play that tune that he was playing. When Hosmani sets to leave, Jhende updates him about his son’s wellbeing. Meanwhile, Aryavardhan plans a surprise for Anu. When Anu catches Aryavrdhan gazing at the moon, she teases him and is surprised when he suddenly hugs her. Aryavardhan teases Anu when she addresses him as ‘sir’. Aryavardhan reminds Anu about their challenge and how she had said that she will have to fulfill his wish when he wins. Later, Anu blushes when Aryavardhan asks her to call him by his name.
