Jug Jugg Jeeyo Release Date Announcement: Varun Dhawan And Kiara Advani Starrer Gets A Release Date In Unique Way – VIDEO

Jug Jugg Jeeyo is the upcoming film starring Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani in the lead roles. Apart from them the film also stars Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Prajakta Koli and Maniesh Paul. Varun and Kiara will be seen as husband and wife and it is the first time that the actors are sharing the screen space. The film is directed by Raj Mehta and the release date of the film is announced now.

Karan Johar took to his social media account to share the date of release of Jug Jugg Jeeyo. Sharing it on his Instagram account he wrote, “There’s nothing like family and I always believe – we must celebrate that. The feeling, the emotion…the togetherness! #JugJuggJeeyo is a celebration of FAMILY! Coming to cinemas near you on 24th June, 2022.”

Announcing the release date, the makers dropped a video in which the wedding invitation card theme can be seen. The names of the leads appear on the screen later a finger ring can also be seen which breaks into pieces. In the end, the date of release appears on the screen. In the background of the video, quirky music can be heard.

Jug Jugg Jeeyo is backed by filmmaker Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and it is a family comedy-drama. It is directed by Raj Mehta, who helmed the 2019 hit Good Newwz. Jug Jugg Jeeyo marks the return of Neetu Kapoor to the big screen after seven years. She was last seen in Besharam, which featured her actor, son Ranbir Kapoor and late husband Rishi Kapoor.

The film went on floors in November last year in Chandigarh. The cast and crew resumed the shoot after months in August this year. Directed by Raj and backed by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, and Apoorva Mehta’s Dharma Productions, the film will trace the story of two couples across different generations.
