K-Pop sensation BTS meets Megan Thee in New York, and the pictures are adorable

The K-Pop sensation Bangtan Boys or popularly known as BTS and American Rapper Megan Thee Stallion are together weeks after releasing the sensational song ‘Butter (feat. Megan Thee Stallion). The remix with Megan’s rap cover was released on YouTube in August and has been viewed by 43 million.

BTS was in New York and performed their popular single ‘Permission to Dance’ at the United Nations. They also spoke at the UN’s 76th General Assembly. With the boys in New York, it was time for Megan Thee Stallion to catch up. And the singers took selfies on a rooftop in New York City. She posted the hanging out pictures on her Instagram and Twitter.

Thee’s Instagram picture has amassed 2.7 million likes and counting. A fan posted ‘Megan Thee by doing a song with them is known across Korea’. Another fan commented, ‘they finally met’ and another fan saying ‘when worlds collide’. The K-Pop boys also got acquainted with Megan Thee’s pet 4oe, a French Bulldog. BTS also reportedly gifted a Baby Koya doll to the rapper.

She posted another picture on Twitter with her blue nail polished fingers with the doll background. In an earlier interview with the media, Megan Thee Stallion explained why the remix Butter was important to her. She said that she was a fan of BTS and she wanted to do a song with them.

BTS has become a pop sensation across the world. They recently won the Guinness World Records Hall of Fame with their 23 records. Formed in 2010 and debuted in 2013 with their 2 Cool 4 Skool, BTS has taken the internet by storm with their popular tracks like Dynamite, Butter, Boy with Love, and their latest Permission to Dance.

The Bangtan Boys that translates as ‘Bulletproof Boy Scouts’ have risen to international fame in 2018 after their song ‘Mic Drop’ recorded in Korean and Japanese in 2017 started trending. The seven-member boys’ band consists of Jin, Suga, J Hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook. The band started scorching the music floor with their singles like Butter released in May this year garnering the record of ‘Most Viewed YouTube music video in 24 hours’.
