We’ve noticed that many director-actor duos in the profession have a strong bond. Salman Khan and Kabir Khan are two among them. Kabir Khan recently revealed details about his relationship with the actor and how their relationship has progressed. Director Kabir Khan claims that working with Salman Khan aided him to solidify his standing as a director in the profession and that he would love to collaborate with him on the future venture.
His remarks come just days after Salman and legendary scriptwriter KV Vijayendra Prasad, who authored the narrative for the 2015 original, revealed the follow-up to their movie Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Salman played a gentleman who starts on a trip to return a silent six-year-old Pakistani girl to her village in the neighboring nation after being estranged from her family in India.
When asked if he will return to direct the sequel to Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Kabir stated it is still up in the market. At the end of the day, it’s about resting on a script. It’s more about Salman and him both getting psyched over it and exploring if they can pull it off. He’d offer his right wrist to work with Salman once again in a movie.
His friendship with him has proven extremely beneficial to him. He has gained a great deal of knowledge. He can honestly state that he would not be where he is today in the movie industry if it weren’t for his work with Salman. But they haven’t gotten to that level with Bajrangi,” the director informed a leading newspaper.
Kabir began his career as a documentary filmmaker before directing his first feature film, Kabul Express, featuring John Abraham and Arshad Warsi, in 2006.

Salman and the filmmaker first worked together on the espionage action movie Ek Tha Tiger in 2012, which launched a profitable trilogy for Yash Raj Films. For Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2 and Tubelight, they reconnected. The director’s film 83, featuring Ranveer Singh as Kapil Dev, is currently in theatres and doing well at the box office.
