Kalyana Vaibhogam: As Jai meets Manga finally, here’s why we think their love story is a special one

We might know her as Janaki now, but there was a time when she ruled our hearts as Manga (played by Meghana Lokesh). From finding a companion in Jai to losing him for a long time, Manga from Kalyana Vaibhogam has been through a lot. While there are other love stories where the society and families keep two people in love apart, Jai and Manga’s story is unique for numerous reasons.

For starters, the one person to cause the most damage to their love story was Manga’s sister Nithya. Such was her keenness to marry Jai that she didn’t hesitate to kill her sister, niece and nephew to marry Jai. Although years have passed, she is still unsuccessful in harbouring a relationship with Jai. It might seem like Jai would marry Nithya because she looks exactly like Manga, whom he loved so deeply. However, Jai understands that the sisters are polar opposite.

Another thing that makes their love story unforgettable is how Jai waits around for several years without getting married, even when he thought Manga was dead. He even became a father figure to Divya, without realising that she was his daughter. Jai’s persistence in finding Manga brings tears to all eyes. While most love stories have separation initially and end in unison, Jai and Manga have it the other way round.

We can’t wait for Janaki to make her way back as Manga and start a whole new chapter with Jai! From Manga to Janaki, she has grown a lot. But now that Jai has recognised her, he will have her back irrespective of how difficult life gets, and the couple will be setting goals for everyone soon.
