So far in Kamali, Rishi and Kamali have fixed the date of their engagement and a handful of people are waiting to create a bunch of hurdles in their life so that they don’t unite. Tara, on the other hand, wants Anika to get married to Rishi as she feels that Kamali will never match their lifestyle and way of living. She also looks down upon Kamali as she says that she comes from a very different background that is not suitable for anyone in the house.

As for Kamali, we have always seen her father, Chandru, support her in all her dreams and endeavours. He has always been open to anything she has to say and has helped her with every problem that has come her way. This has also made it easier for Kamali to talk to Chandru and communicate any sort of problems that she is going through.

Apart from that, we also see what an understanding father he is as he welcomes the idea of Kamali and Rishi getting married. He knows that Rishi comes from a very respected background and so acknowledges the fact that he will be the perfect match for Kamali. Apart from that, he knows that Rishi has always supported his daughter and that is exactly what why he agrees to the marriage.

Kamali, on the other hand, has always protected her father and wanted him to be happy. She even goes to the extent of finding out where his true happiness lies and helps him reunite with Gowri. Even when Anika tries to harm him for fixing Kamali’s marriage with Rishi, it is Kamali who saves his life when he gets unconscious in the guest house. She has always been a responsible and sensitive daughter to Chandru just as he has been an understanding and loving father to her.
