Deshveer (Jashn Kohli) and Mahi’s (Shehnaz Saher) love story in the Punjabi serial Kamli Ishq Di looks so refreshing and captivating as both the characters are wild and hot-blooded, but also soft-hearted. Both of them have feelings for each other, but Veer has other struggles too and Mahi understands that. There are many moments in the show where it has made the viewers smile, laugh, or get emotional. Here we are with some moments from the show that redefined love for us.

Oh kehde hai na ki pyaar di suruvat ladai toh hi hondi hai. Bas ijeha kuch si Veer te Mahi di pheli mulakat. Veer’s aunt hates Mahi and plans to create a ruckus between both the families. Somehow, Veer and Mahi become the scapegoats and keep fighting over badaam and vaadiyan until Preeto reveals that it was her mistake. The banter between them is what endears them to us, to begin with!

This was another moment where Veer and Mahi come together, but again to fight it out. For the prize money of Rs 10,000, the Sandhu and Bansal families face each other in several games. Mahi plays a trick so that Veer’s family loses. But then Veer enters and the tables are turned in the kabaddi match. Whenever Veer and Mahi have a verbal fight, it seems just like fire and lightning are raining down from the sky. The two set fire to the screen with their chemistry!

Veer’s maasi has bad intentions for Veer. She wants Veer to get married to Preeto so that they can claim his property as well. She also takes Veer’s mother’s jewellery without Veer’s knowledge. When he gets to know that his aunt is behind all of this, she tries to use Mahi as a shield. But Veer stands up for her and berates his aunt for playing such a dirty game.

Arrogant Lucky always wanted to see Veer on his knees. He kept Veer’s mom’s jewellery, and to get it back, Veer agrees to become his bodyguard. Later, Lucky visits Mahi and her family with his marriage proposal. Mahi insults Lucky for expecting her to get married to him. She is shocked to see that Veer has agreed to be Lucky’s bodyguard, and confronts Veer. But Veer disowns her and tells her that he’s not answerable to her. That’s the moment you feel sympathy for both. Veer is trying to protect Mahi by sacrificing his love for her, while Mahi desperately tries to make him drop his mask in front of her.
