Kangana Ranaut’s upcoming film ‘Dhaakad’ will release on October 1, 2021. The film also stars Arjun Rampal and Divya Dutta in the lead roles.

Actress Kangana Ranaut announced on social media that her upcoming film Dhaakad will be releasing on October 1, 2021. She has been prepping for her film for a year and her first look from the film looks promising enough to entertain the audience. Kangana Ranaut took to her social media to announce her upcoming film’s release date, along with the poster of her film. She also shared that the film won’t be releasing on an OTT platform, but will be releasing in theatres this year.

Sharing a glimpse of her look from the film, Kangana Ranaut wrote in the caption, “She is fearless and Fiery! She is Agent Agni 🔥
India’s first female-led action thriller, #Dhaakad, releasing in theatres on 1st October 2021!”. Kangana Ranaut believes that the film is not only the benchmark movie of her career but is also expected to mark the turning point of Indian cinema. Directed by Razneesh Ghai, the film is packed with action and will be one of the first female-led action films. Dhaakad also stars Arjun Rampal and Divya Dutta in the lead roles.

Earlier, at a New Year’s party thrown by Kangana, the entire team of Dhaakad was present and that’s where Kangana first shared about her upcoming film. Netizens left comments under Kangana Ranaut’s movie poster and expressed how they were excited for her film to release. Due to the Pandemic, theatres were shut down for several months last year. Filmmakers and stars thus opted to release their films on OTT platforms.

Now that things are slowly getting back to normal, filmmakers are approaching theatres to release their films, instead of releasing them digitally. Kangana Ranaut has also announced her film ‘Dhaakad’ will be releasing in theatres in an attempt to get the audience back to theatres, to watch films.
