The latest Zee Marathi show Karbhari Laybhari is a political drama that has caught everyone’s attention! Is it based on Raj Thackeray’s life? The grapevines suggest that it is surely based on Maharashtra’s powerful political family, the Thackerays. In the two promos of the show that have released as of yet, we have seen how the lead actor essayed by Nikhil Chavan holds a solid grip over the audience as he speaks and the silence of the crowd is deafening. The same crowd roars in applause when the speech ends! In the next promo, we witnessed a beautiful love story and of course, the lead actors of the show were revealed. The mysterious ways in which the creators have withheld information has also made the show even more interesting!

There are two actors who play the lead roles in the show, Nikhil Chavan, a known face for the Marathi industry and Anushka Sarate, a newbie who will win hearts!
1. Nikhil Chavan
The actor was last seen in a Zee Marathi show starring Shivani Baokar. In the show, Nikhil played a pivotal role. After Lagira Zhala Jee, Nikhil was also seen in the ZEE5 Original series Veergati. He played the role of an army man in the series. Nikhil has a wonderful relationship with Shivani and he calls her his baby sister. Meanwhile, speculations are rife that Nikhil is dating Marathi actress Purva Shinde.
2. Anushka Sarkate
Anushka is a happy-go-lucky girl and she is stepping into the industry with Karbhari Laybhari as her first project! Anushka’s smile is infectious and she has a heart of gold as she is usually seen indulging in events of charity. She has a very supportive family and a group of friends who are her constant cheerleaders!
