While she is one of the most hardworking actors in Bollywood, Kareena is also often praised for spending quality time with her baby boy, Taimur Ali Khan. On the occasion of Children’s Day 2020, UNICEF India’s Celebrity Advocate, the mom-to-be Kareena Kapoor Khan has given a special message. In this video,  Kareena Kapoor Khan has wished everyone a very Happy Children’s Day and shared some wise words. Kareena Kapoor Khan has said, “I’d like to wish everyone a Happy World Children’s Day. While this year we aren’t necessarily celebrating, making World Children’s Day is important. It’s UNICEF’s global day of action for children, by children. As UNICEF India’s Celebrity Advocate, education and making sure that every child has the opportunity to learn is close to my heart. But this year, as you all know schools have been closed for more than seven months due to the pandemic. There is a learning crisis, with millions of children missing out on education in the country. We know that not every child has a computer or a smartphone with internet or even a television. Children are missing out on essential learning. The chances are that many of them, essentially girls, are not likely to ever go back to school. UNICEF is working with the government and partners in many states to reach these vulnerable children adopting innovative ways to ensure continuity in learning at home.
