Kartik Aaryan On Exit From Dostana 2 News; ‘More Than Myself I Am Worried About My Parents Who Are Not From The Film World’ – DEETS INSIDE

Kartik Aaryan had previously announced his departure from the Dostana 2 production. On a recent occasion, when asked about it, the actor declined to discuss his departure from Dostana 2. The project, produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, was set to star the actor alongside Janhvi Kapoor. He had also completed some of the filmings before it was revealed that his part would be recreated.

The news sparked debates about the ‘camps’ that are rumored to operate in the film business. To this Kartik said in an event that he is not a member of any Cinema camps, denying that he adheres to any such group. In 2019, Dostana 2, a continuation to the 2008 popular film, was scheduled. The shooting had ground to a stop because of the COVID-19 outbreak. However, even before the production company could restart the shooting, reports emerged that Kartik Aaryan and Karan Johar had a falling out, resulting in the actor’s departure from the project. The reports elicited no response from either party.

Kartik’s character will be recast, according to a notification released by Dharma Productions. “We would be recasting Dostana 2 due to corporate situations in which we have determined to preserve a respectful distance.” Please stay tuned for an official declaration in the near future,” said a statement published in April.

Kartik was asked if he’s upset by the unfavorable headlines about himself in an interview.
