Here are 5 of the most popular music videos of the current times which had some of the hottest new-age divas shaking their legs in them.

While in India the music industry has always been producing indie music alongside film music, but somehow the non-film music took a back seat in the 2000s. However, in the recent few years, it has made a comeback in the form of singles, and these are doing exceptionally well. Most of these singles are tugging at the heartstrings of the audience and to add to the flavour are some of the hottest Gen-X divas ruling the music videos of these singles.

Here are 5 B-Town divas who are currently ruling the roost:

Kiara Advani (Urvashi 2.0)

Kiara starred in the 2018 remake of the Urvashi; a highly popular AR Rahman track from the 90s. Needless to say, Kiara along with Shahid Kapoor and Honey Singh stunned the audience completely.

Nidhhi Agerwal (Saath Kya Nibhaoge)

Nidhhi Agerwal’s latest number, Saath Kya Nibhaoge, is a redo of the hugely popular qawwali track of the same name by none other than Altaf Raja. Set in a performing art setting of dance, the song alternates between past and current events with Sonu Sood playing a cop who gets to meet his long lost love in the form of Nidhhi. The song is directed by Farah Khan with lyrics and music by Tony Kakkar.

Alaya F (Aaj Sajeya)

Alaya F was recently seen in a Punit Malhotra directed music video, Aaj Sajeya. The soul-stirring track presents the events from the wedding of Alaya’s character.

Rakul Preet Singh (Dil Hai Deewana)

Rakul took the internet by storm when she paired with Arjun Kapoor for Dil Hai Deewana earlier this year. The song composed by Tanishk Bagchi has been crooned by Darshan Raval & Zara Khan.

Rashmika Mandana (Top Tucker)

Top Tucker featuring Badshah under the YRF Music banner is an electrifying track composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja and has Rashmika slaying in style in the upbeat track. Watch the track for its vibrant colours and thumping beats.

As the craze for music videos rages, we are waiting for more such tracks with our favourite Gen-X divas setting the stage on fire. Which one of these is your favourite? Share your thoughts with us.
