Kim Kardashian was speaking with Bari Weiss of The New York Times, who discussed the Cancel Culture with her. Kim was recently reminded in an interview that she has been criticized for cultural infringement in the past for her hairdo and outfits. She was questioned about how she decides when to respond to indignation seekers online and when to defend herself.

“In the case of Kimono and altering that name, the group came up with an innocent name,” Kim Kardashian continued. She, on the other hand, took a letter from Japanese officials quite seriously. She suspended production right away, and there were a number of pieces in the works at the time. “Give me a week,” she said, forcing her to come up with a new moniker. Anyone who has ever started an organization understands how tough it is to develop a name, let alone trademark it, yet there was no way around it.
