Kris Jenner talks about mom-to-be Kylie Jenner at the Met Gala 2021

If all the fashion on display at the 2021 Met Gala at the New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art still made you feel like something was missing, then you are the next Sherlock Holmes. Or you have definitely been Keeping up with the Kardashians. Kylie Jenner was prominently missing from the event while the rest of the family was well there to grace the floor like sisters Kendall Jenner, Kim Kardashian, and mother Kris Jenner. 

The reason for Absence

Kris Jenner took the charge at the gala to explain the absence of the model and reality star. At least indirectly. While speaking to the reporters at the venue, she expressed her excitement at becoming a grandmother once more.

Well, it is no secret that Kylie Jenner is pregnant for the second time, with partner Travis Scott. And that is the very reason that the model decided to skip the event at the last moment. She decided to focus on her health. Although it doesn’t mean that Kylie Jenner does not miss the opportunity. In a social media story, which kind of announced the decision to skip it just moments before the Met Gala went live, the star wrote she is so sad that she is not there.

The Pregnancy

This pregnancy is special for the 24-year-old Kylie Jenner who gave birth to their first child in 2018 with partner Travis Scott. The pair has gone on record several times about wanting a second sibling for their daughter, Stormi. Apparently they have been trying to have the second kid for close to two years and it is reasonable that the mother-to-be is taking no chances with their baby.
