Krishnakoli 18-year leap: Take a look at Shyama and Nikhil’s striking transformations

Zee Bangla‘s popular show Krishnakoli recently took a huge leap in the story. The latest episodes of the show have been fast-forwarded to 18 years later, and there are major changes and updates in the lives of the characters. A major noticeable change in the story is that of everyone’s ages. Like others, our favourite characters, Shyama, played by Tiyasha Roy, and Nikhil, played by Neel Bhattacharya have also aged sufficiently. Recently, Tiyasha and Neel shared their new looks on their Instagram profiles.

Krishnakoli’s lead actress Shyama, who plays the part of a dusky girl on the show, has now aged into a somewhat older woman. She has an 18-year old daughter, Krishna, who she lives in Benares and has no memory of her past with Nikhil. Earlier, the younger and married Shyama was seen wearing bright and colourful sarees and pairing them with heavy gold jewellery. She was also seen wearing heavier makeup. But now, the older Shyama is seen wearing much simpler and more neutral-toned sarees. Shyama still wears gold jewellery along with her attire but they are of a much simpler and daintier design nowadays.

Tiyasha Roy, who plays Shyama on Krishnakoli, recently took to her social media to share Shyama’s new look with her fans. An excited Tiyasha captioned the photo asking her fans how they like her new appearance for the post-leap episodes of Krishnakoli. Later, she posted another set of photos asking her fans to help her with an accurate caption for it. In this post, Shyama was seen holding a huge weapon in her hands looking determined to do something.

Similarly, Nikhil Choudhury, Shyama’s husband, has also aged a lot in the show. Nikhil who feels abandoned by Shyama and is desperate for the love of his daughter now appears to have grown a lot of grey hair. Earlier, a younger Nikhil was seen wearing various shirts, Polo t-shirts, and other bright and colourful Indian traditional attires. However, he is now mostly seen wearing short kurtas. Neel Bhattacharya who plays Nikhil’s character, also took to his social media to show his fans his new look on the show. The confident actor posted a shot of himself from the initial post-leap episodes where he is at the bar and captioned it, ‘Age like Wine.’
