Kristen Stewart to play DC’s Joker in the next Batman movie starring Robert Pattinson?

Getting a probable Oscar break through the ‘Spencer’ movie, Kristen Stewart has regained her position at the top of the list of talented Hollywood actresses. Her outstanding performance in the trailer as Late Princess Diana of the Royal family has been applauded not only by her fans but also by the people in the Hollywood industry. Post gaining the spotlight with her top-notch performance, Kristen Stewart is now being considered for multiple roles across genres. According to a popular social media campaign, the Spencer actress’ fans wish to see her as the famous villain Joker in the forthcoming Batman movie. The most anticipated movie also stars her ‘Twilight co-star and former boyfriend Robert Pattinson.

In a recent podcast, Kristen Stewart was asked if she is aware of the campaign and also whether she’ll be up for the role if asked. Jared Leto, Heath Ledger, and Joaquin Phoenix are just a few of the very talented performers that have played the Joker. Both Heath Ledger and Joaquin Phoenix won the well-deserving Oscars for their portrayal of the popular clown villain. Kristen Stewart, hinting towards the same, mentioned that the role has already been playing really well in the past and that she isn’t really sure.

Kristen Stewart, not directly denying the possibility, stated that she loved and admired the energy behind it but would not wish to walk over the same old path. As much as she would love playing a “freaky, scary person”, it should be something original, different, and intriguing.  

This might dishearten some of the actress’ fans since Kristen Stewart, in a way, denied the role. When asked about the same, the diva mentioned that she would totally be down for something like this, considering it is something new. She even clarified that she is not saying a complete ‘no’ to the idea.
