1. Honesty

With the advent of the national lockdown, fresh episodes of our Zee Marathi favourite shows have stopped airing as actors are practicing social distancing and self-isolation by staying put at home and not going for shoots. But ZEE5 has proven to be a saviour as its retelecasting some of the most popular serials from earlier times. One of them is Krupasindhu, a devotional series based on the life of a revered saint, Shree Swami Samarth, that is currently being aired on OTT platform. The show is about Swami’s stay at the town of Akkalkot, where he eventually took a samadhi after his term on earth ended. Swami’s justice and his miracles are some of the stories that have been passed down from one generation to another. Swami’s teachings are also a fair part of these.

Watch an episode of Krupa Sindhu here.

Swami promotes honesty and says that even if one goes wrong, one must never take the support of dishonesty. He proves this by making Bassappa’s life better and filled with riches.

2. Integrity

Swami also explains that being staunch with decisions and having integrity are important virtues. He always encourages the inhabitants to practice these qualities, stating that these will help them succeed in life.

3. Gratitude

Swami also explains that one must be satisfied and count their blessings for what they have instead of being greedy for what they don’t. Swami saves lives, helps people, and does not expect anything in return. His selfless nature is an example of this trait.

4. Love

Swami also says that love can triumph hatred, and conquer evil. He also believes love is an important and much bigger emotion than ego.

5. Brotherhood

Swami Samarth proves that unity can help in achieving success. The citizens of Akkalkot succeed against the tortures of Shastribua only when they form a team against him and stand together.

6. Trust

Swami’s trust in his disciples turns his haters and non-believers into conformists. Swami talks to his disciples about trust being the foundation of life, bonds, and relationships. It is important to trust your family, friends, and your own self. Don’t you agree?
