Kumkum Bhagya: Before Tanu, THIS Character Had Accused Abhi Of A Crime He Did Not Commit

Kumkum Bhagya gave us a moment of happiness with Abhi (Shabir Ahluwalia) finally welcoming Pragya (Sriti Jha) in the Mehra mansion. However, their happiness was short-lived as Tanu (Leena Jumani) spoiled it all. Tanu came with the police and accused Abhi of sexually assaulting her. Both Aliya (Reyhna Pandit) and Pragya tried to defend Abhi but Tanu turned the whole case in her favour and Abhi was arrested by the police. However, this is not the first time that Abhi is accused of a crime he didn’t commit.

Earlier, Abhi was arrested for Simonika’s murder however he was framed for the same and he didn’t kill her. Simonika and Sangram had joined hands to take revenge on Abhi and Purab. They tried to kill Abhi and Purab in a bomb blast but they did not succeed. Simonika then started troubling Pragya to take her revenge on Abhi.

Amidst this, Abhi locates Simonika and starts following her. He then reaches the hotel that she’s staying that and just when he is about to catch her, his fans surround him for an autograph. Abhi is about to dodge them when a mysterious person puts an injection on Abhi’s neck and he starts feeling drowsy.

When Abhi wakes up,  he tries to find Simonika but there is no clue about her. Pragya meanwhile is calling Abhi and he informs her that he is in a hotel and doesn’t know what’s happening around.

Pragya asks Purab to reach the hotel to meet Abhi. But before, Purab and Pragya arrive, Abhi gets arrested in Simonika’s murder case. While we know he never committed any crime, cops arrest him and take him to jail.

Pragya then takes efforts and it is revealed that Simonika tricked Abhi and she was alive after all. Pragya and Purab save Abhi and with the court’s verdict, Abhi comes out of jail. Everybody gets to know that Simonika is actually Avantika and she goes to jail.

So while he was able to get out of that messy scenario, we hope he emerges victorious even in this one. We hope Pragya is able to prove his innocence and that Tanu is compelled to pay for her sins this time.
