Kunal Kapoor Would Have Loved To Marry Anushka Sharma, But He Thinks Virat Kohli Would’ve Done THIS To Him

The Empire has been released. The series is gathering a lot of applause and intrigue, making it one of the most talked-about series off-late. So it is hardly a surprise that the cast of The Empire was in for a treat. It so happened when actor Kunal Kapoor recently appeared on a special episode of Karan Johar’s Koffee with Karan, called Koffee Shots with Karan. Kunal Kapoor wasn’t alone on the couch. He was accompanied by his co-actors Dino Morea and Drashti Dhami. The trio was promoting their recently-released series, The Empire. This grand series has already become the talk of the town when it was released on Disney+ Hotstar a few days ago.

Keeping with the tradition of all Karan Johar’s talk shows, The Koffee Shots too concluded with the dreaded rapid fire round. It was no surprise that Karan maintained his favorite question who will the guests kill-marry-hookup, of course keeping The Empire in mind, the director and talk-show host changed the question to ‘behead, marry and lock-up’, the choices were Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt and Anushka Sharma

To which, Kunal was quick to say, “I think I would behead Alia, just out of envy, for how talented she is. I think that would definitely happen. Anushka, I would marry, but I think Virat would behead me. Deepika I would lock up, because things of value and beauty should be locked up.”

What a perfect answer to one of the most dreaded questions in the rapid-fire round. Kunal Kapoor who shot to fame after Rang De Basanti has been delving into some very different kinds of work of late. Koi Jaane Na was his first release this year, and now The Empire. The 43-year-old actor is often called the hottest actor of the industry, but success post-Rang De… has been scarce. Here’s hoping the series changes all that for this powerhouse of talent.
