Kundali Bhagya: Revisiting All The Times When #PreeRan Were Separated On The Show

Kundali Bhagya’s #PreeRan never had it easy since the time they first met. There were always problems in their relationships and many roadblocks on their path of love. Even after they got married, nothing has really changed! The evil Mahira (Swati Kapoor) still pines for Karan (Dheeraj Dhoopar) and Prithvi (Sanjay Gagnani) too has his eyes set on Preeta (Shraddha Arya)! Right now on the show, Akshay’s murder has left everyone in a frenzy and Preeta was arrested for it. Later, Karan chose to take the blame and got himself arrested! But this is certainly not the first time when Karan-Preeta’s relationship has been torn apart by destiny. Here’s looking at all the times in the past when they were separated.

After Akshay broke off his wedding with Kritika

Preeta is a pure-hearted person who treats Kritika (Twinkle Vasisht) like her own sister. When she found out that Akshay is not a nice man, she collected proofs against him and decided to expose him in front of the Luthras. But Akshay was a step ahead and decided to break his marriage so as to get an upper hand. While everyone blamed Preeta was ruining Kritika’s wedding, Sarla got upset and took her back home. It wasn’t until Valentine’s Day when Karan sneaked into her house to meet her but that was after they stayed away for almost two weeks.

When Karan marries Preeta, betrays her and leaves her

Karan is angry with Preeta after Rishabh (Manit Joura) gets married to Sherlyn (Ruhi Chaturvedi). Mahesh’s accident further intensifies his anger. So, to teach Preeta a lesson, he takes Prithvi’s place at the mandap and marries her without her consent. Later, Karan berates Preeta and leaves her on a deserted road. They don’t stay in touch and Preeta goes back to Sarla’s house but decides to keep her sindoor and her mangalsutra. They meet several days later at a hotel, and the meeting is purely coincidental.

When Preeta is arrested because of Mahira

Just when Preeta and Karan start getting closer, Mahira decides to kill Preeta by pushing her in front of a truck. But luckily, Shrishti (Anjum Fakih) saves her and Mahira is the one who gets hurt. She is admitted to the hospital and she claims that Preeta tried to kill her. Preeta spends several days in jail but Karan gets her out.

When Preeta’s notice upsets everyone

Sherlyn decides to meddle and make things difficult for Preeta when she is living at Sarla’s house but is married to Karan. She sends a legal notice to Karan and writes Preeta’s name on it so it looks like Preeta is trying to get back at Karan for marrying her without consent. This creates a further divide between the Luthras and Aroras. Preeta decides to divorce Karan and he decides to marry Mahira. Hearing this, Preeta decides to marry Prithvi and #PreeRan are left in turmoil and jealousy for a while!

When Karan is accused of rape and sent to jail

One of Prithvi and Shelyn’s ploys to ruin Karan was to employ Monisha to create a fake rape case on him. Prithvi also wanted to keep Karan away from Preeta and that was another reason behind this move! At this point #PreeRan were just starting to like each other! Karan was trapped in Prithvi’s ploy and had to stay in jail for a couple of nights. As Preeta was also at the party where this supposed incident took place, she was more worried and could not rest a moment while Karan was in jail. She vowed to prove his innocence and bring him back home. But it was a tough time for the family as Karan is a big cricketer and an allegation so big ruined his reputation for a while and affected his career!
