It’s a human tendency to try and improve the way you look. However, some people do so, as they suffer from self-image issues. They are insecure about their looks and can get conscious if their appearance is criticized. Sudha from Laal Ishq is one such person. She is a young, beautiful woman, married to Ganesh, who is older than her. .. But she has no interest in impressing him. Instead, she looks for ways to woo her neighbor, whom she fancies. Sudha buys a saree, to seek his attention. But this purchase leads to a shocking event that turns her world upside down. What happens? Have a look below to find out. 

One day, Sudha buys a saree from a local hawker. He advises her not to wear it for long, as it is slightly heavy and can make her feel hot.

Later, when Ganesh comes home from work, he was pleasantly surprised seeing Sudha, as she looks younger and more beautiful.

The next day, Sudha buys a few more sarees from the same hawker, as she wishes to impress her neighbor, whom she fancies.

 Ganesh discovers that Sudha’s sarees possesses powers that make her look younger and prettier. He gets freaked out and tries burning all the sarees. While doing so, the spirit trapped inside the saree kills him.

Sudha is still unaware of the fact that her husband is dead. The next morning, when she sees that her sarees are missing, she gets angry and starts searching for them.

Sudha goes to the saree hawker and tells him to show her a new collection of sarees. The latter says that all the good ones have been destroyed. Sudha is persistent and to satisfy her, the hawker hands her a damaged saree.

Sudha wears the same saree and goes to meet her neighbor. When he sees her, he gets scared and runs away. Confused by his reaction, Sudha looks at herself in the mirror and realizes that she is looking ugly.

She goes home and changes her saree to look better, but nothing works. Sudha then visits the hawker and asks him why she isn’t able to look like her normal self.
