Lahore Confidential: 5 Times Our Heroines Fell In Love With The Bad Guys On-Screen

Lahore Confidential, starring Richa Chadha and Arunoday Singh in lead roles, is an upcoming ZEE5 Original movie helmed by Kunal Kohli. The trailer of the same was unveiled online and the video garnered massive love from moviegoers due to its intriguing plot. In Lahore Confidential, Ananya, a RAW agent from India, falls for a Pakistani spy and poet, Rauf. In a turn of events, she falls heads over heels in love with him, unaware of the fact that his team is plotting against India. While we don’t know what the two lovebirds will end up doing, here’s a look at the five shows and movies in which our righteous women fell for the wrong men. Meanwhile, Lahore Confidential releases on ZEE5 in February.

1. Taish

In Taish, Sanjeeda (Jahaan) falls for Pali (Harshvardhan Rane), who is a gangster, operating a gang. Writer-director Bejoy Nambiar’s show begins with Pali’s heartbreak and his pain is poignant, which in turn leads to an array of problems in his and Jahaan’s life. His ruthless missions leave Jahaan heartbroken.

2. Jab We Met

In Jab We Met, Geet (Kareena Kapoor Khan) falls for Anshuman (Tarun Arora), her college-lover. She leaves behind her entire family to get married to him. She travels to his home-town from Bhatinda with a hope to marry him, unaware of the fact that her life would change completely. Anshuman throws Geet out of his life as he was sick of her fairy-tale dreams.

3. Tere Naam

In the film Tere Naam, Nirjara Bhardwaj (Bhumika Chawla) falls for Rajbir (Salman Khan), who is an absolutely useless man, surrounded by a group of ill-mannered friends. Despite his habits and traits, Nirjara falls for him. Moreover, he also bullies her in public but her love doesn’t fade. In a turn of events, Nirjara’s father gets her married, leaving Rajbir shattered.

4. Hacked

In the film, Sam (Hina Khan) is a successful editor of a fashion magazine. Even though she is doing well professionally,  she leads a very lonely life. She falls in love with a married actor (Sid Makkar) who keeps making erroneous promises. Later on, she sleeps with a 19-year-old boy, Vivek (Rohan Shah), who then gets totally obsessed with her, making her life miserable.

5. Dark 7 White

In ZEE5’s very recent outing Dark 7 White, Yudhveer Singh aka Yudi (Sumeet Vyas) is a spoilt brat and a prince. He believes democracy is a myth. Yudi kills his girlfriend Tashi (Madhurima Roy), who loved him. More so, Nilu (Monika Choudhary) also loved Yudi. However, the latter was cheating on Tashi by having a relationship with Nilu. Yudi’s fiance, Daisy (Nidhi Singh), who is unaware of everything, was also in love with him. Interestingly, three righteous women in the show fell for the same bad guy!
