Lakme Fashion Week Grand Finale: Kareena Kapoor Khan, Malaika Arora, Chitrangda Singh And Others Conclude The Event On A Glitz And Glamour Note

The country’s leading fashion gala ‘Lakme Fashion Week’ prevailed from October 6 to October 10. The fashion week showcased designers like Manish Malhotra, Tarun Tahiliani, Satya Paul, Shweta Bachchan Nanda, and many other top designers from the country. The whole of the fashion week was full of glitz and glamour. The final day i.e., the grand finale was celebrated in a grand way as India’s top celebs set the ramp on fire.

The show began with 6 Degree’s Sanjukta Dutt encouraging the efforts of weavers along with Divya Khosla Kumar. The multi-talented women wore a black silk saree that had gold-blue zari work and paired it with a black and silver polka dots belt. The gorgeous lady was styled in a gold maang tikka, black and gold glass bangles, and a gajra for her middle-parted bun.

Up next was 6 Degree’s presents Shikha & Srishti for whom the gorgeous actress Chitrangda Singh walked for. The Desi Boyz actress stunned us in a sky blue lehenga choli with white floral embroidery and a netted dupatta. The dreamy fit was matched with a silver and emerald necklace and matching earrings. As for the hair, the actress’s beautiful wavy hair was kept in a side-parted, side-swept way.

Next in the line was 6 Degree’s presents Abract by Megha Jain Madaan. The show starred actress Soha Ali Khan as she showcased the ramp in a stunning black tube dress with golden vertical lines.

The contemporary fit was matched with golden drop earrings and golden bracelets. While the Rang De Basanti actress had light makeup on and crown braided updo for the hair.

The next label that was showcased was 6 Degree’s presents Annu’s Creation by Annu Patel. Her range mostly displayed bridal collections. The showstopper of the brand was none other than B-Town actress/model Malaika Arora. Malaika set the runaway ablaze as she glided gracefully in a Red lehnga choli. The fit comprised of silver-golden choli which had a beautiful deep plunging neckline and a red lehenga which had golden-silver embellishing on it. The actress was styled in a golden maang tikka, a golden white choker neckpiece, and two golden kadas. We have to say the actress did make a beautiful bride for the show.

As for the grand finale, the fashion week ended on a sustainable note as the B-Town celeb Kareena Kapoor set the stage on fire as she glitz the ramp along with designer Gaurav Gupta, in his strapless white-silver mermaid gown which had a one-sided sleeve illusion to it. The outfit had a sustainable twist to it as it was made from fabrics created with wrappers of crisps and biscuits, plastic bottles, and other daily consumables that have been excavated from oceans and landfills. The mermaid-style body-fit gown made Bebo look like a walking goddess. The actress went along with a glamorous makeup look with a pop of black cherry for the lips.
