Leonardo DiCaprio thought Kate Winslet was insane for agreeing to star in this film

Since their Titanic days, Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet have been best friends. Years later, both actors admitted that they still text each other and occasionally reference lines from the film. This is why DiCaprio didn’t think twice about telling Winslet she was crazy for directing one of her most daring films.

Winslet once said that The Departed star Leonardo DiCaprio thought that she had gone insane to say yes to shooting The Mountain Between Us with Idris Elba. DiCaprio, on the other hand, is no stranger to working under adversity for the sake of filmmaking.

But it seems that he can’t see Kate go through these difficulties which are very difficult to cope up with .

In an interview with a new portal, Kate Winslet stated that in certain conditions, you would most certainly lose a limb as the condition was this adverse. Winslet, on the other hand, was dressed for the cold in The Mountain Between Us. And she was thankful to the part on the Titanic which might have helped her for the film. It has been a long time since we have seen the two actors sharing the big screen together, as fans wait for their favourite Titanic couple to spice things up on the big screen.
