From simple to glamourous, actor Tejaswi Madivada can ace all looks. On days, Pandaga Chesko’s Swathi is the regular girl-next-door in her nerd glasses playing with soft toys. And then there are days when Tejaswi, now a part of the Telugu reality show ZEE Heroes, turns the glam on and becomes the diva that she truly is. This weekend, as you head out to party, why don’t you take some make-up inspo from her? We’ve decoded her look that you can easily replicate at home with the help of step-by-step tips from celeb make-up artist Clint Fernandes.
Step 1: Prepping
To begin with, apply a moisturiser all over your face and neck. Follow it up with an eye cream around the eyes. Gently massage from the inner corner of the eyes to outwards. Then, use a good matte primer to hold in all the moisture and help with a good make-up base.
Step 2: Foundation
For the foundation, dot the face with a light foundation and use either a beauty blender or a foundation brush and blend out. For under-eye marks or pigmentation, use a concealer to camouflage all the flaws. Follow with a contour cream under the cheek bones and the jaw line. Set the base with a translucent setting powder, using a powder brush. Finish with a setting spray. and let dry.
Step 3: Eyes
Use an eye prep cream and let it set. It helps the eyeshadow last longer and also keeps the pigments in place. Use a brownish red shadow on the lids and blend outwards towards the crease socket. Line the eyes with cake eyeliner and blend outwards. Use a black kohl pencil on the waterline of both the upper as well as the lower eyelids. Finish with a mascara. Fill in the eyebrows and shape them.
Step 4: Lips
Moisten the lips with a lip balm. Bite into a tissue to remove the excess balm. Line the lips with a purple lip pencil and fill it in with a liquid long stay lip colour. Let it set and re-apply. Keep the colour matte.
Step 5: Cheeks and face
On the apples of the cheeks, apply a light pink shade and blend outwards. Use a bronzer for further contouring the face. And finally use a highlighter just at the apples of the cheeks. Finish with the setting spray again and let the entire look set in place.
