Maari 14 December 2023 Written Update: Jasmine Meets Her End

In the previous episode of Maari, Hasini cautions Maari to go away when she comes to save her. Jasmine sets Hasini free and captivates Maari. As instructed by Jasmine, her goons throw Hasini out of the room. Jasmine gets angry when Maari smirks despite Jasmine’s threats. Jasmine blames Maari for separating her from Surya and threatens to kill her but before that, Jasmine tells Maari that she will kill her unborn baby. Angered by Jasmine’s deceit, Hasini decides to kill her and takes a log to hit her, but spots the gun instead.  Thereafter, Hasini takes the gun and decides to shoot Jasmine. Elsewhere, Surya meets Vikram and narrates the turn of events to him. Surya tells Vikram about Maari’s intuition and seeks his help to find Maari. Upon learning that Maari’s life is in danger, Vikram calls the control room and tells them to trace Maari’s location.  Accordingly, Vikram learns about the location and rushes to save Maari and Hasini. Maari is shocked when Jasmine lights the fire torch to set her on fire. Maari claims that Devi’s spirit and the goddess will save her. Maari calls out to Devi and the goddess to save her baby. Just as Jasmine is about to set fire to the wood, Hasini enters the room and threatens Jasmine to leave Maari. Maari worries as she recalls her intuition and pleads with Hasini to return. Jasmine mocks Hasini but gets scared when she aims at a tin and proves her shooting skills. Hasini refuses to leave Maari and go. Hasini keeps Jasmine on gunpoint and sets Maari free. As instructed by Jasmine, her goon hits Hasini on the head and makes her unconscious. Jasmine aims at Maari but Hasini intervenes and risks her life to save Maari. Jasmine changes her mind to kill Maari and tells her goons to captivate her. The goons pour petrol around Maari. Jasmine takes the fire torch and decides to set Maari on fire.

In the next episode of Maari, Maari is terrified as Jasmine decides to burn her alive and tries to light the woods. But is shocked when Rasathi’s spirit appears to save Maari. It strangulates Jasmine in the same manner that she did to Rasathi in the past. Jasmine throws the burning log towards Maari. But Rasathi’s spirit saves Maari and throws Jasmine into the burning fire, charring her to death. Maari sympathises with Jasmine but Rasathi’s spirit claims that Jasmine deserves her death for all her treachery.  As soon as Surya and Vikram reach the location, Rasathi disappears. Surya and Vikram spot an injured Hasini and rushes her to the hospital. Surya comforts Maari, who blames herself for Hasini’s condition. While the doctors operate on Hasini, Maari prays to God to save her.

Tara and Aravind rush to the hospital and are shocked to learn about Hasini. Parvathy condemns Tara for bringing Jasmine into the house. But Surya assumes that Tara was unaware of Jasmine’s ploy. Aravind thanks Surya and Maari for saving Hasini’s life. Tara and Sreeja are shocked when Maari tells them that Jasmine is dead and narrates the turn of events. Tara gets agitated when Parvathy claims that Devi has vanquished an evil person. The family is happy when the doctor claims that Hasini is out of danger. But there is more to come, the family is overjoyed to learn that Hasini is pregnant. Bur Sreeja sulks to learn about it. Tara gets upset as she thinks of Jasmine and her death. She decides to leave the hospital when she gets a phone call. Later, Vikram reaches the crematorium with Jasmine’s corpse and asks Tara to sign the papers and do the post-death rituals for Jasmine. Sankarapandi and Tara pay their last respects to Jasmine. Later. Tara does the ritual for Jasmine and takes an oath to avenge her death.
