Maari 29 November 2023 Written Update : Surya Attacks Jasmine

In the previous episode of Maari,  Maari and Surya thank the goddess for saving their life. Tara and Jasmine are shocked when the goddess’s trident enters Gorakh’s house.  Surya rushes to take Maari from the temple and tells her all the incidents that took place. On learning this fact, Maari expresses gratitude to the goddess for saving her and her baby. Maari feels helpless to see Surya lamenting about the incident in front of Devi’s photo. Jagdish and Hasini are elated to learn that Maari is safe and has reached home. Thereafter, Surya and Maari spend quality time with each other. Back home, Sankarapandi grumbles when they fail to kill Maari and her unborn baby. Jasmine notices a gloomy Tara and assures her that she will kill Maari’s baby, but Tara tells Jasmine that more than Gorakh, she fears Surya, because he has met Gorakh, and will learn that Mohini was sent by him. Citing Tara’s fear, Jasmine plans to meet Gorakh and tell him to go into hiding for a few days. Surya decides to find out the truth about the person, who sent Mohini to kill Maari and the baby.

Jasmine meets Gorakh and requests him to hide for a few days, but he is enraged and lashes out at her. Gorakh claims that he is not scared of Surya and decides to stay back. Unable to convince him, Jasmine leaves the house but comes rushing back to see Surya and the police. Gorakh speaks arrogantly when Surya confronts him about sending Mohini. Gorakh tricks the police and escapes, but Surya follows him. Surya tries to nab Gorakh but he attacks the former. Devi’s spirit watching the incident, uses her power and hangs Gorakh to death.

In the next episode of Maari, The police are taken aback to see Gorakh hanging from the tree, but Surya realises that it is Devi’s spirit that has punished him. Jasmine rushes out of the house on hearing the chaos and is shocked to see Gorakh’s condition. She fears when Surya spots her and escapes. Jasmine reaches home and tells the happening to Tara. Realising that Surya will come home in search of Jasmine, gives her an idea to save herself from Surya’s wrath.

As feared, Surya barges into the house and attacks Jasmine for trying to kill Maari. Tara intervenes and stops Surya, but he claims to have spotted Jasmine in Gorakh’s house. Surya fails to believe Jasmine, who claims to be innocent and denies trying to kill Maari. Hasini intervenes and tells that Tara is responsible for all the problems. Jasmine pretends to be innocent and denies harming Maari. Jasmine is shocked when Surya reveals that she is responsible for Rasathi’s death. Jasmine asks Surya to furnish evidence to prove that she is guilty. Later, Surya makes one more revelation about the doctor, who uttered Jasmine’s name, leaving Jagdish and the other members shocked. Jasmine is shocked when Surya claims that he will return with the evidence and get her arrested. Thereafter, Surya visits the doctor but is upset when the nurse attending her tells her that the doctor has not regained consciousness. He further requests the nurse to inform him when the doctor regains consciousness. Jasmine reassures Tara that the doctor will not regain consciousness. Tara tells Jasmine to be calm for a few days as Surya is suspecting her. Later, Maari is shocked when Surya tells her about meeting Gorakh and witnessing his death. Surya tells his plan to Maari when she asks him the reason for telling Jasmine about the doctor. Later, Shanmugham calls Tara and tells her that Surya has met Santhakumar and managed to get his hands on their wedding photo and asks her to take it from Surya.
