Manoj Bajpayee Goes Underground To Essay A ‘Tedious’ Role in His Next Venture

For his upcoming film, Manoj Bajpayee has decided to cut off communications with everyone to get into the skin of his character. He is known to get into the skin of the characters he chooses to play onscreen. 

Manoj Bajpayee is one of the most sought-after actors of the Bollywood film industry. He is known to get into the skin of the characters he chooses to play onscreen.  Following the same, for his upcoming venture, the two-time National Award-winning actor has decided to essay another challenging role. Reports claim that the actor has decided to cut off communication until the shooting of the film wraps up.

As reported by a leading daily, the methodical actor, who has essayed several unconventional roles in the past, has been a part of a 15-day workshop with the entire cast of his next film venture. It is said to be ‘tedious’ yet ‘challenging’ role. The makers of the film were delighted to see the actor’s dedication and commitment to attend the organised workshop.

As per the portal, the actor believes in preparing himself with the director’s vision. As the role is a tough one, Manoj Bajpayee has now decided to cut off all communication and go underground to be able to get in the skin of his role. He will reportedly continue to remain underground during the entire shooting process which will last for about 50 days.

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Manoj was last seen alongside Diljit Dosanjh in the satirical comedy film Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari. Helmed by Abhishek Sharma, the plot of the film in 1995. The story revolves around the life of the main protagonist Madhu Mangal Rane, a wedding detective, who does a background check on grooms.

During the ’90s doing a background check was a norm as there were no mobile phones or social media. This process gives rise to comical situations and rivalry between Suraj Singh Dhillon and Mangal. The actor will be next seen in Rensil D’Silva directed thriller drama Dial 100 and ZEE5 Original, Silence.
