Your daily dose of entertainment in the month of May will be ensured by the advent of emotional stories and romantic drama. No less than the epic Laila-Majnu, the 29-episode series Tum Kon Piya is directed by Yasir Nawaz. It depicts the virgin love of Elma and Ramish who go through twists and turns in their journey. 1. Imran Abbas as Ramish Hassan

Do you remember actor Imran Abbas from Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil? He essays the male lead role of Ramish Hassan, the son of a millionaire, Muzaffar Hassan in the romantic family drama. Ramish falls in love with Elma Ali, the daughter of Waqar Ali, who works at Muzaffar’s company. A kind-hearted man, he helps Elma’s brother to get a job.

Playing the female lead, television actress Ayeza Khan essays Elma Ali. She is the love interest of Ramish Hassan. The eldest daughter of Waqar Ali, she is a responsible and dutiful young girl. After her mother passes away, she becomes a second mother to her sisters Neha and Seema. Her father wants to marry her off to another man. Ayeza started her acting career at the age of 18 and has worked in over 34 television shows.

Television and film actor, Ali Abbas essays the role of Zarbab Khan in this romantic-drama. Owing to an unfortunate incident, Elma’s father marries her off to Zarbab even though she loves Ramish. On the other hand, Zarbab loves Javeria, his sister’s friend. He and her mother cause unhappiness for Elma in her new marriage and house. The actor, Ali Abbas is the son of actor-director Waseem Abbas.

Veteran film and television actor Qavi Khan essays the role of Elma’s father Waqar Ali. He is a widower and has three daughters who he wants to marry owing to his old age. He works at a multi-million firm owned by Muzaffar Hassan. Elma and he share a loving father-daughter bond and he tries to find the perfect groom for her. He is happy to learn that Ramish and Elma like each other.

Sharafat Begum is Zarbab’s mother who later becomes Elma’s mother-in-law. She is portrayed by veteran actor Hina Khawaja Bayat. She is frugal in nature and always scolds her children for wasting money. She has s slight hint about Zarbab and Javeria’s relationship but dislikes it. Other than Zarbab, she has a daughter Sobiya and a son Arif. Hina Khawaja Bayat originally hails from Jammu and Kashmir.

Having appeared in many sitcoms, actor Mehmood Akhtar plays the role of Ramish’s father Muzaffar Hassan in this series. He is a millionaire and owns a huge corporate firm. A rigid man, he and his wife don’t approve of Ramish’s love for Elma and want him to marry Sumbul instead. Elma’s father Waqar Ali is an employee at his company, so Muzaffar rejects her, which leads to a tragedy.
