At the event, she was performing Janis Joplin’s “Maybe”, a song she felt deeply about. For her, the song represents freedom and acceptance of the things that she has experienced.
Miley Cyrus mentioned that presently she is at a stage in life when she is finally beginning to find stability. The loss of her Malibu home in the 2018 fire is finally fading. And all this needs patience, patience to rebuild your life even when you have to start from nothing.

She suggests leaving people out of your life who get you down even if it is your romantic partner. Personally, Miley Cyrus believed in a strange theory that she wouldn’t be able to live without a partner. It was to the extent that she believed being in a romantic relationship was her life’s purpose. But in COVID it was taken away and she felt so lost. Music, however, had come to her rescue and gave her a new purpose and strength.

And even now, Miley Cyrus seems to be inspiring people by opening up about her struggles
