A noted romantic comedy, Ashta Chamma is also actor Nani‘s debut film. It is the story of a Mahesh Babu fangirl who swears to marry only a boy named Mahesh. In order to stay close to this girl, Mahesh hides his small-town identity. The twists and turns take this couple places, literally, only to reveal that Mahesh is truly Mahesh and also a rich man, born to a wealthy city-based businessman.

3. Kanchana 3

Multi-talented man, Raghava Lawrence takes his Muni franchise ahead with Kanchana 3. After tackling the stories of a forbidden transwoman and a lost man, this film tells the story of a young couple who tried to help the society but were killed because of their righteousness. Once again, Raghava Lawrence excels in his franchise. He keeps the reliability right on the table and serves a better quality of story and production with Kanchana 3.

4. Mirapakay

We cannot talk about comedy without talking about Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja. So, here is Mirapakay. Translating to chilli, this film is flavoured with all the spices in the right amount, for the perfect mass entertainer. It starts with a secret agent trying to track down a world-famous gangster. Shuffling between his love interest and his fake relationship for the sake of his target, Ravi Teja gives us three hours of laughter with this Telugu film.

5. Nannu Dochukunduvate 

With badminton champion, Sudheer Babu and Bangalore beauty, Nabha Natesh, Nannu Dochukunduvate is an underrated comedy film. Although it is said to be a romantic drama, we suggest you watch this purely for its brilliant comedy. With Harsha and Shanmukh playing key roles, this Telugu film is a joyride that you will not forget.
