Missing Prachi Desai Of Kasamh Se? Get Ready For Her Thrilling Comeback With Silence… Can You Heart It

The ability to morph themselves into different characters is a mastered skill for an actor. While many actors stick to the same formula, the others just love to experiment with their art of performing. And most of them have tested their skills by essaying a variety of different yet interesting characters. Similarly, Bollywood diva Prachi Desai has impressed the audience with an extraordinary range in all the characters she has essayed so far.

The actor made her debut as Bani Dixit in Zee TV’s classic drama Kasamh Se. Through her innocent-yet-strong on-screen persona, Prachi became a household name. Eventually, Prachi’s performance and dedication made her take a leap in her professional life. And since then the actor has essayed a variety of bold and next-door-girl characters in many of the Bollywood flicks. Prachi’s most-appreciated work remains to be of Sakshi Shroff in the Rock On franchise, especially her meaty role in the 2016 sequel Rock On 2.

As shocking as it may sound but Prachi has been missing from the acting scenario since 2016. However, making a great comeback, Prachi is all set to feature as a dashing lady cop in the upcoming ZEE5 Original titled Silence. The film is a crime thriller which revolves around the mysterious murder of a woman. Silence will also mark Prachi’s digital debut as she’ll play inspector Sanjana in this nail-biting flick. This is also the first time that the actor will be essaying the role of a cop.

A couple of months ago, Prachi had announced the project on her social media handle. The actor took to Instagram to share multiple stills from the upcoming film and wrote, “Happy to announce my latest Project #SILENCE … can you hear it? A crime thriller that will stop you in ur tracks. Thrilled to foray into this side of the Universe!”

For those unaware, Silence also features Manoj Bajpayee and Arjun Mathur in the lead roles. While Bajpayee will don the character of ACP Avinash Varma, Arjun will be seen playing the role of Ravi Khanna. Directed by Aban Bharucha Deohans, the film will dive into the mysterious world of crime and serial killers. Unfolding as a whodunnit, the film promises to be filled with some exceptional performances by the cast.

Silence will be streaming exclusively on ZEE5 from March 26, 2021.
