Zee Marathi‘s much-awaited show Ladachi Me Lek Ga lived up to the expectations with its first episode which premiered yesterday. The show is based on the life of a doctor-nurse duo Kasturi and Sourabh who save lives together. While fixing the bones of their patients, they develop a strong sense of attachment and tie the knot soon after. The couple who dreams of living happily ever after, realise that their marriage has turned into a nightmare. Mummy, who’s on a hunt for revenge, steps in to crush all their dreams. 1. Mitali Mayekar as Kasturi

Mitali Mayekar makes her return on TV after her successful stint on Zee Yuva’s Freshers. She will be seen playing the role of a lovable nurse Kasturi who can heal her patients with her magical touch. She is in search of an ideal partner and that’s when she comes across Sourabh who works at the same hospital as Kasturi. The beauty who’s known for her impressive performances in films like Urfi and Billu, and in the ZEE5 Original Sex, Drugs & Theatre is making a comeback on TV with this show. 2. Aroh Welankar as Dr Sourabh

We have seen Aroh Welankar at his dramatic best in films like Rege, Savita Damodar Paranjape, and Hostel Days. He will now be debuting on TV with Ladachi Me Lek Ga. The actor grabbed everyone’s attention after his mind-blowing role in the crime drama Rege but his claim to fame was when he participated in a popular reality show and emerged as a finalist. This time around he will be essaying the role of a responsible Dr Sourabh who has recently joined a hospital after completing his education abroad. Despite staying away from the family for long, Sourabh remains connected with his roots. For him, family is everything!

3. Smita Tambe as Mummy

Smita Tambe is the embodiment of terror on the show and will be portraying Mummy’s role. The actress, who’s known for her ventures in both Bollywood and the Marathi film industry, has taken up the challenge of becoming the lady don. This role of hers is unusual for viewers who are yet to see a woman entering the skin of a mafia don. Considering her previous critically acclaimed performances in 72 Miles – Ek Pravas and Jogwa, we’re sure that she’s going to steal our hearts with this show as well.

4. Umesh Jagtap as Constable Hanumant Lokhande

Remembered for his role in Tula Pahate Re as Jhende, Umesh Jagtap is another actor who’s part of the star cast of Ladachi Me Lek Ga. The actor received praise for this role despite playing a side character. His pairing with Subodh Bhave reminded everyone of their long lost friends. In Ladachi Me Lek Ga, Umesh is taking up the role of Kasturi’s father who is somehow responsible for the condition of Sourabh’s father. What has he got to do with it?
