Mithai: Contrary to her character, Tonni Laha Roy gels perfectly with the Modak family, here’s proof!

Zee Bangla’s popular serial Mithai stars Soumitrisha Kundu as Mithai and Adrit Roy as Siddhartha Modak in lead roles. Siddhartha’s colleague and ex-lover Torsha is always trying to create troubles in Mithai and Siddhartha’s married life and in the Modak household. But in real life, Tonni Laha Roy, who portrays the role of Torsha, has a great bond with her co-actors on set and her Instagram is a testament of that.

Contrary to their onscreen character of Mithai and Torsha who are arch enemies, Tonni shares a lovely bond with Soumitrisha in real life. Recently for Soumitrisha’s birthday, Tonni took to her Instagram to shower her co-star will love. She shared a cute selfie with the birthday girl and wrote, “ Happy Birthday Baby. Lots of Love.”

Tonni seems to share Soumitrisha’s love for reels, as we see her post many of them on her Instagram handle. In one such reel, we see Soumitrisha and Tonni celebrate their friendship as they enjoyed each other’s company. They can be seen walking hand in hand and also spin around in joy. Tonni chose Prem’s theme from Dum Laga Ke Haisha as the background music for the reel. Their carefree attitude reminded us all of our own best friends.

Tonni’s reel sessions with Soumitrisha seem to know no end as we see the pair again in a fun video where they are initially seen in simple clothes but as they bump into each other, their outfits change into more glamourous ones. They end the video with a hug. Aww! Aren’t they adorable?

Keeping up with the latest trend, Tonni and Soumitrisha also made a reel with the viral “Twada kutta tommy, sadda kutta kutta” song produced by Yashraj Mukhate. They seem to have channelised their Mithai and Torsha self as they can be seen arguing with each other. As the song proceeds, we see Uday Pratap Singh and Dhrubo Sarkar who play Ratul and Som join the ladies and pretend like dogs. Well, they seem to have a blast on set!

Tonni’s friendship does not only restrict itself to Soumitrisha, as she seems to have befriended everyone’s favourite Dadai as well. She posted a picture on her Instagram where we can see her pose with Biswajit Chakraborty who essays the role of Dadai. The pair seem to be twinning as Tonni is seen wearing a pink dhoti saree while Biswajit is seen in a pink chikankari kurta along with a tassar dhuti.

Another member of the Modak family has also made a guest appearance in one of Tonni’s reels. Actress Lopamudra Sinha who portrays the role of Siddhartha’s aunt danced along with Tonni and Soumitrisha to the song Naino Wale Ne from the movie Padmaavat. Although Torsha and Siddhartha’s aunt does not share a bond with Tonni on-screen, off-screen it seems to be a different story altogether.
