Aparajita Apu features Satabdi Nag as Suparna, also known as Supu, who is Apu’s sister and the newest daughter-in-law of the Mukherjee family. While Supu is a timid, obedient and aimless married woman, we see a stark contrast between her and Ki Kore Bolbo Tomay‘s Radhika (played by Swastika Dutta). And we wish Supu would take a few tips from Radhika and develop a voice of her for her own good.
Watch what will happen next on Aparajita Apu here:
Timid vs outspoken
Ki Kore Bolbo Tomay’s Radhika is very outspoken and bold when it comes to standing up for her own people. She does not fear her elders when justice is at stake. However, Supu is extremely timid around any and every elderly person. She chooses to keep quiet or say as less as possible instead of speaking up at the time of need. Radhika had exposed Joy of his misdeeds towards Bably. However, we doubt if Supu will ever confront Abola or her sister for their discrimination and dominance.

Reliance on partner
Radhika is a very independent woman and is rarely seen depending on Karna for anything at all. Instead, she manages her household chores and her work flawlessly, while her husband relies on her for several things. Supu, on the other hand, is always looking to have her husband instruct her to do things in the absence of any other elderly. She is also bound to be dependant on him due to the patriarchal upbringing she has had.

Unambitious and aimless
One of the biggest things Radhika could help Supu realise is the importance of having personal and professional ambitions. Radhika, a passionate fashion designer, has constantly worked towards achieving greater heights in her career. However, Supu has never worked a job in her entire life. The lack of such goals has also taken away her self-confidence and dignity in the heavily patriarchal family she has grown up in.

Submissive vs confident
Supu is also extremely shy and apprehensive of stating her opinions or even responding to her elders. Supu usually has her head bowed down in front of them and obeys whatever she is told. Radhika, on the other hand, has a mind of her own and does not blindly accept questionable things. She does not shy away from raising questions, starting conversations or speaking her mind.
