Monday Motivation: This Quote Shared By Prosenjit Will Offer You A Fresh Perspective
BollywoodOur all-time favourite star from Drishtikone has posted a few words which will make you see the silver lining in any situation. Read on to know more!
Superstar Prosenjit, or Bumba Da as he is lovingly called by everyone, is one of the greatest actors in Tollywood today. With latest superhit Bengali films like Shob Charitro Kalponik, Jyeshthoputro and Drishtikone under his belt, he continues to rule the Bengali film industry, and with good reason! Prosenjit recently made a post on his social media page with a quote that will brighten your perspective and help you focus on the positive aspect of any situation, much more. Given that every one of us across the world are currently in the grips of a terrible pandemic, this post comes to us at a time we could all use it.
Along with a black and white photo of himself (which is quite stylish), he has posted a caption which says, “There is something infinitely healing in the repeated refrains of nature — the assurance that dawn comes after night, and spring after winter. –Rachel Carson”. Indeed, this is a very reassuring thought, especially because we have all been under a complete lockdown, imposed by our government in a bid to contain the spread of the Novel Coronavirus, for almost two months now, and yet the situation continues to look quite grim. It may not be uncommon for us to feel down in the dumps because of it, or have bouts of anxiety and panic given the uncertainty and difficulties plaguing us. However, we also know that panic and pessimism do nothing for our immune system, which during this time we must make sure to keep in its peak condition!
Rachel Carson was a famous American biologist, who was well known for her writings on environmental pollution and the natural history of the sea. Coming from an expert, the thought shared by Prosenjit not only holds weight, it helps shine a light on the positive sides of the lockdown, apart from the obvious one — containment of the virus. As we continue to stay at home, we see the benefits of it show on nature all around us. The air has become cleaner and less polluted. Birds and wildlife are thriving better. The quote also serves to remind us that there is indeed an end in sight to the problem, no matter how bad it may seem on the surface. Day comes only after the dark of night, and winter always turns into spring. There is light at the end of every tunnel, and we will soon see it if we stay safe and stay strong!
