You have learnt some valuable life lessons until now. And these aren’t just words, they are extremely easy to interpret and are literal pearls of wisdom that you should inculcate in your life too. While life maybe is glum this Monday, Mr Aravind is the only one who can cheer you up. From the theory of Plus One Minus One or telling us how to effectively spend our Samaya, Ramesh Aravind’s advice has so much of value, that if you miss it you are missing out to simple steps you can take to make your life better.

This week too, Mr Aravind talks to us about something that most of us are addicted to, our mobile phones. Before we bifurcate his message take a look at what the veteran has to say.

Ramesh Aravind started off my speaking about the one that troubles him about youngsters. He then creates a situation where a youngster is asked to talk about his whole life. To this, his reply is a very straight-forward one. He says, ” I lived my life, I was a youngster and then I became old.”

What Mr Ramesh is trying to say here is that, what did the youngster do in his whole life to make a mark of his own? To this, the youngster replies, “I was looking at my mobile.” While this concept might sound confusing let’s look at it from a simpler perspective. What the host is getting at here is that there is no problem staying on the mobile phone the whole time but are you using that precious time to while away or are you using to learn about the vast topics that can actually educate you? Are you using it for self-development? Because when you use it for self-development, that will be your best selfie!
