Unconditional motherly love
Then comes the entry of the daughter, Charu (Rebecca Santhosh). Surabhi’s character’s whole world revolves around her daughter Shalu and her ailing father (Balu Narayanan). Despite all the setbacks, she always gives Charu everything she wants. That’s when she expresses her desire to go to Canada for further studies.
Although hesitant at first, Charu’s mother starts gathering money to fulfill her daughter’s dream, unaware of the fact that she was lying to her. In fact, Charu was eloping with her lover Sudhi (Suresh Prem). A mother who yearned to get a glimpse of her daughter who stayed in the hostel was now on a mission to fulfill her daughter’s dream.
An endless struggle
The simple fact that she was ready to sacrifice all that she had, just to bring a smile to her daughter’s face proved just how much Charu meant to her. The most incredible thing about Charu’s mother was that despite being a downtrodden woman, she was never a victim.
