In his recent political drama, Dhurala, which was a multi-starrer, Ankush played the role of ‘Dada’ very well and also delivered this dialogue that is still remembered by many. It goes, “Ekdach sangto pan thokun sangto, sarpanchpad yach gharat ani yach khurchivar yenar ahe”.

Then, in the much-appreciated film, Checkmate, wherein he starred with Swapnil Joshi, Ankush begins the film with an intense dialogue that still leaves us in awe everytime we hear it!
The dialogue goes, “Murphy’s law. Bighadle la kam sudharne sathi kela tyela pratyek prayatna tela aankhinach bighdavat zato.” In this particular scene, he stares intensely at the lens and talks directly to the audience while water is splashed on him. This black and white scene really leaves an impression on how the film is about to unfold! Simply brilliant.

Not just intense dialogues, Ankush proves he has great comic timing too when he delivers extremely hilarious dialogues like its the most natural thing for him to do! For example, in Bluffmaster, when he(Nikki) is proposing to Sanika, Sanika’s maushi (aunt) finds them in the park and instead of being scared, he butters the maushi by calling her “Chotyapan pasun Sainka tumchya barobarach hoti? Mhanun ti ashi. God, sundar, khatyal, ladivan” . The scene will have you giggling!

“Pan ekda apayash aale ki ghasrun zato manus,” is one of the deepest lines from the film Double Seat, which Ankush delivers with such ease.
The scene takes place at night, while the husband and wife gaze at the ocean and talk about their dream house. It is an important point in the film and the simplicity by which Ankush portrays the innermost thoughts of a middle-class man is beyond beautiful.

“Deva, Asha shi lagna karun hi nirasha?” This wordplay is hilarious in the film Sanshay Kallol, which revolves around a married couple Jay and Asha. In this comedy, the partners suspect the other of cheating and end up spying on each other! Ankush’s Jay says this dialogue at a temple after witnessing his wife with someone else. Although, it should be a serious moment, Ankush’s acting and his dialogue delivery hit the comic meter and how!
