Naagin 3 Actor Pearl V Puri Arrested On Rape Charges, Here’s All You Need To Know About The Case

The television industry’s handsome hunk, Pearl V Puri was recently arrested over rape and molestation charges. The Naagin 3 fame actor was arrested late in the night on June 4, 2021. He was then taken into custody at the Waliv police station. The case was registered by a minor girl’s father alleging Pearl of raping the minor girl. Since the victim is a minor, the case also falls under the section of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POSCO) act. This is why the actor wasn’t granted bail and will be kept in judicial custody till June 18, 2021.

The Indian television industry seems to be getting one hit after the other. Earlier it was the ugly brawl between actor Karan Mehra and his wife Nisha Rawal, and now it is actor Pearl V Puri. The Brahmarakshas 2 has been arrested under rape and molestation charges as registered by the father of the alleged victim.

As soon as this news hit the media, many people came out in his support. Right from the Balaji head, Ekta Kapoor, to his co-stars such as Surbhi Jyoti, Karishma Tanna, Anita Hassanandani, Aly Goni and others, the whole film industry backed the actor. Almost everyone is of the same opinion, that Pearl could never do something like this. Ekta even shared a post on her social media alleging that she had a conversation with the minor girl’s mother, who claimed Pearl to be innocent and said that this was all her husband’s doing.

Reacting to Ekta Kapoor’s claims, DCP Sanjay Kumar Patil came forward with his own set of information. He revealed that the alleged crime has been committed against a minor girl ageing less than 12 years old. He also claimed that they have enough proof against Pearl and only then did they initiate the arrest. The police have also requested the court for permission to get Pearl’s medical test done. Meanwhile, an audio conversation has been leaked between Ekta Kapoor and the alleged victim’s mother where the latter claims Pearl to be innocent. She said, “I’m with Pearl only. I’m with the truth. I have given all the statements. I have all the proofs.”
