Though there have been many films that revolve around the Kashmir conflict, only a few of them have a lasting impact on the viewers. And the ZEE5 Original film Veergati is one of them. The film sheds light on the conflicted relationship between the army men and the locals of Kashmir. The film essays the story of two Muslim youths and their different lives. While one serves the army, the other one is unemployed and thus gets on the wrong side of the law.

In its 60-minute runtime, the film reflects upon some relevant themes. The prominent one being, how the youngsters are brainwashed by some illicit organizations for their political benefits. Veergati is definitely a must-watch.

Bayko Zali Gayab

With a comic storyline at its heart, the 2010 Marathi film Bayko Zali Gayab has a strong message at the end. The film revolves around a young couple who help policemen catch a wanted terrorist Masood. However, the latter escapes holding a few hostages, wanting his demands to be fulfilled. The film further essays how the force gets together to gun down Masood.

Though being a comedy-drama, the film perfectly portrays the lives of the common man dealing with the aftermath of terrorism.

On Duty 24 Tass

If you want to get an insight into the making of bold and dutiful police officers, the film ‘On Duty 24 Tass’ has got you covered. The film revolves around Karan Bedi, a police officer who trains aspiring policemen to deal with the hardships of the criminal world. The learnings of the trainees are put to test when a terrorist attack strikes in the city. The film has a very fresh perspective on the sensitive subject of terrorism. Laden with ample suspense and drama, On Duty 24 Tass is another great pick for you.

At times, the force has to deal with the terrors within the society that are equally harmful. Portraying the same, Mukta Barve starrer Bandhishala revolves around a lady cop and her escapades in the crime world. She fiercely takes on the notorious criminals while putting her own life at risk, Bandishala is an ode to the dutiful and responsible policemen who are always at the forefront to protect society.
