Anu might be a little too sensitive
Anu is a strong woman who can overcome any challenge. There is no doubt about the fact that she would make a great role model. However, she is also too sensitive, especially when it comes to Surya. She lets anything related to Surya, affect her very quickly. He has the power to make her sad or happy in a heartbeat. Something as little as Surya and Meera sitting together breaks her heart and it is certainly not healthy.

Surya has always gone beyond his way to make sure that Anu is happy. Be it when he postponed his flight to London to see her or stopped her wedding. These things are proof that Anu is special to him. If Anu gives this a thought, we are sure that she will understand that they have a bond that cannot be threatened by things like Surya and Meera spending time together.
