Neetu Kapoor Reminisces The Life Lessons Rishi Kapoor Taught Her From His Death Bed!
BollywoodNeetu Kapoor remembers the many things Rishi Kapoor taught her while he battled cancer in NYC.
Today, Rishi Kapoor would have been all of 69, the actor who has left behind a legacy of beautiful films and mindblowing cinema is greatly missed. While the love of his million fans will always stay, it is his wife Neetu Kapoor who lives in a void that cannot be filled.
On Rishiji’s birth anniversary his wife shared a lovely picture which depicts how this Khel Khel Mein jodi lived life to the fullest even in the bleakest moments of battling cancer. While we all in some way or another know that the traumatic years of battling cancer can never be easy, not only on the patient but also on his near and dear ones, the fading strength, the chemotherapy but Neetuji’s post filled with the wonders of hope in difficult days will definitely show one and all the right way of coping.
Sharing the photo on social media, Neetu wrote, “I learnt a lot from Rishi Ji during our last few traumatic years in NYC. How we celebrated when his blood counts were high… We dined, shopped, laughed… In his lows, we just stayed home watched tv ordered in amazing food n still had some wonderful moments in hope that the next round of chemotherapy he would be better… Hope and being strong is what he taught me, value each day… we all miss him today! I can picture him how excited he would have been for his 69th birthday!!! I’m sure he is celebrating with his family up there. Happy birthday Kapoor Saab.”
Neetuji’s words are an affirmation of everything that those who are suffering need to read and believe in. The lady has always been an epitome of grace, and seeing how graciously she has taken to God’s will and Rishi ji’s passing away tells us, she is one of the rarest and kindest people around.
Neetu Singh will be soon seen onscreen too, in the film Jug Jugg Jeeyo which stars Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor in the main lead, alongside comedian, Manish Paul.
